My craft and Kerbals falling through the ground???

Hi, I just registered so I can post this thread.

So my crafts and kerbals fall through the ground, but only through the runway. What could it be? I have RSS installed, 2048 textures for RSS; is that the problem? My craft doesn't explode or anything like that, but it realy, realy makes it hard to land because I can't see whether did i touch the runway or not... Is this already posted somwhere, idk because i just registered. Please help, I'm running on low settings on a laptop. on the ground, (grass or whatever) its actually normal.

but on the runway thing.... i cant tell.

also, what mods are you using?

Firespitter, MechJeb, KAS, KAX, KIS, Kopernicus, Module Manager, RSS, RSStextures - a lot, i know

Where are you lauching from in RSS ? Are you using KSC Switcher ?

I know by experience that for some launch locations, the textures of the KSC do not match exactly its surface. In other words: the ground is not where you see it (sounds mysterious ^^)

If that is indeed the issue, then only a reworking of the textures or position of the KSC could solve it, so nothing you can do IG I'm afraid.

I deleted the RSS and it's back to normal. Thank you!

I've been having a similar problem with my RO/RP-0 Install.

My aircraft always "fall" into the runway after rolling forward for about 100m. Once this happens the landing gear is clipping about halfway into the runway surface and I cannot steer, but nothing awful happens. About halfway down the runway, it's as if there's a giant step beneath the runway that my plane's landing gear suddenly hits. This usually results in RUD, but if I'm going slow enough, I'll just lose the landing gear, THEN RUD..

This has put my spaceplane career to a full halt because it doesn't matter how massive the plane is, or how slow or fast I'm going. If I can't get the plane to lift off before that giant step, it will splat. That seriously limits my x-plane options.
