Building, flying and crashing a Star Wars style Podracer

For the Kerbinside vs. Kerbal Foundries challenge by Little Alto, we had to make anti-gravity based craft to do the Red Bull style Air Race. While everybody made sensible racers, I decided to make something a little less practical, a Star Wars style Podracer. I had no idea how impractical it would be until I tried.

Here's the first video I put up, which went over really well (38k views)

Realizing Podracers are in a class all their own (a very slow, yet dangerous class), I setup a Podracer specific challenge.

Here's my new video of trying to make a super sonic podracer using my secret sauce...MOAR BOOSTERS!
