Spoiler Maze: Choose Your Own Adventure!

I had this idea a while ago. Have fun!

Note: This is a concept test for something much bigger I have in mind. (A huge hedge maze, of sorts, where you have to find the center and not get killed. :P) As such, it is kind of short.

You have been contacted by Kerbodyne, and they've detected an asteroid that is hurtling towards Kerbin!

You begin constructing the asteroid interceptor. The first order of business is to decide whether the craft is kerbaled or not.

Starting with a drone core, you begin placing basic parts on the blueprint, giving it fuel capacity, power generation, communications.

With a bigger engine, and higher thrust, you should be able to move any asteroid! Placing the claw on the top of your ship, you attach a launcher and the ship is done! To the launchpad!

The launch window is not in alignment just yet. Do you:

Because you went with the less efficient engine, your ship runs out of delta-v on the way there. Good thing it was a drone! You place another ship on the launchpad, but you have no more funds. The window still isn't here yet.

Again, you run out of fuel, and not able to launch another ship, the asteroid hits Kerbin unhindered.

[GAME OVER]

Option below counts. :)

Efficiency is key here. You launch the ship at the best time, directly into its inclination, and plot a rendezvous. Achieving station keeping, you connect with the asteroid. Do you:

You align, and begin a burn to redirect the asteroid into an aerobrake trajectory. After the aerobrake, you then burn prograde to set the rock in a stable orbit. Congratulations!

[WIN]

Not having enough authority to keep the contraption stable, you begin to spin uncontrollably until everything falls apart.

[GAME OVER]

Over time with the increased efficiency, you can gradually redirect any asteroid. Placing the claw on the top of your ship, you attach a launcher and the ship is done! To the launchpad!

The launch window is not in alignment just yet. Do you:

Having the delta-v to spare, you rendezvous with the asteroid. Unfortunately, you run out of both time and fuel to capture the rock, but instead of impacting Kerbin, it skims the lower atmosphere and then exits the system.

At least you didn't kill everyone!

[GAME OVER]

Because you went with the less efficient engine, your ship runs out of delta-v on the way there. With a kerbal stranded in space, the public riots for you to bring them back, only to delay the next launch and doom Kerbin.

This is awesome! A bit too obvious with the choices, but still cool.

Yeah, I'll admit it. I didn't want it to take three hours so I threw something together. For bigger ones (including the maze) I'm going to write a program to generate the code. Which means less obvious choices. :)
