Association of Crazy Kerbals

Prologue:

Werner woke up the sound of his phone ringing. He looked at his alarm clock: 6:45. "What could anyone want at 6:45 in the morning?" he wondered aloud. He reached over and answered the phone.

"Hello?"

"Werner?"

"Yeah."

"This is Gene."

"Gene? What do you need at 6:45 in the morning?"

"To tell you that we got it. The sale went through."

"On the space center?"

"Yeah"

"I'll meet you there in half an hour."

"OK, see you then."

Werner hung up and practically ran across his room to his dresser. Hhhmmm, what should I wear? Lab coat or lab coat? He shook his head, decided it didn't really matter, and grabbed one off the top. Fifteen minutes later, after a quick shower, he was hurrying to his car.

A short drive later and Werner met Gene on a hill overlooking their new space center. "Here", Gene said, handing Werner a patch that read 'Head of Rocket Design.' Gene was wearing one with 'Director of Flight Operations' printed on it.

"So what are we going to call it?" Werner asked Gene.

"I hadn't thought that far ahead yet. 'Kerbal Space Program', maybe."

"I don't know. It sound kind of generic."

"Generic?"

"Yeah. Generic."

"OK. Any other ideas?" asked Gene, who thought that 'Kerbal Space Program' was a perfectly good name.

"I don't-" started Werner, then he interrupted himself with a smile that went from ear to ear (what to what?). "'Association of Crazy Kerbals.'"

"'Association of Crazy Kerbals'! What kind of name is that?"

"A perfectly good name! We're an association of Kerbals."

"That doesn't explain the 'crazy' part."

"We will be launching people on top of rockets. Does that sound sane to you?"

"Good point. 'Association of Crazy Kerbals' it is then."

End of Prologue

Welcome to the first installment of the story of the Association of Crazy Kerbals! They were created based on three ideas: they are an association, they are Kerbals, and some of them are definitely crazy (namely Jebediah).

I'll be playing on career mode, with the difficulty at normal. I'll also be using mods, a list of those can be found below.

*I will not use MechJeb to launch, land, fly, or control a vessel in any way. I will only use it to plot interplanetary transfers.

This list will probably change. A lot. I will update it when I get/get rid of mods.

I will try to get an update out every couple of weeks, but this won't happen all the time due to me being busy. Work tends to come home with me, but I I'll try to update this regularly.
