Hi. This is my custom made DIY Kerbal Control Panel. Plexiglass, pushbuttons, switches and Arduino Leonardo. Work still in progress.

The plexiglass approach is innovative, I grant you that. But I find asking for donations tasteless.

Backlight looks good. You could look into replacing the paper decals with a transparency, which blocks more light in the dark areas and has a more uniform color transmission in the back-lit areas.
