I am using modded ksp and i am compleatly unable to deploy a parachute.

My game is unplayable because i can't use a parachute, i will put the parachute on, and it will be opaque and rendered, so it is attached, but nothing appears in the staging, and if i right click it gives me no deploy option, in fact it gives me no ui, and when i put my mouse over it it says "mk1 cockpit" but the parachute is highlighted, so the game knows it is there, it's just forgotten how to use it.

this may be the result of mods, but when i uninstalled them for a sec, nothing changed.

my mods are:

active texture management

Environmental visual enhancements

ferram aerospace

better atmospheres

distant objects

please help I am confused, sad, annoyed, and I want to play my game.

Does it happen with one particular craft, or any?
