Is there enough fuel in the ascent stage?

Enough to get to 15km orbit and randezvous with CSM on 25km orbit. I used MechJeb to test it but still there was like c.300 m/s left, so everyone should be able to do it.

And yes, I lost engine while landing (this brave maneuver included even a barrel roll - don't ask).

Is the problem with the rovers because of cleverbobcat? There's a .20 version available.

We already tried that, it doesn't work with the rovers lionhead has for some reason.

It's not weird at all. I planed making a probe/satellite pack a little later.

Basicly, everything about the M.E.M. and it's class of vehicles just scream "MOD ME! MOD ME! I WANT TO LIVE!", and I'm surprised no one has started working on this.

Its Wernher von Braun's mars lander.

That one is the Boeing North American Manned Mars Lander.

It's from 1968, so it's hard to find good information on it.

I did several long web searches on it a few months back when I made my own version of it from stock and modded parts.

It was part of the Boeing's Integrated Program Plan Interplanetary Spacecraft

I'll see if I still have any links for it.

This might sound stupid...but Im gonna ask anyway, are you going to to the Diamant someday? I understand that we wont really be able to lift anything with it, except a barebones LKO sat, but its a very nice, historical rocket...

Yes Diamant is planned, moreover it's a french rocket, I can't avoid making it. On my schedule there're Ariane 4 (may be Ariane 1 to 3), Diamant, Vega and Europe.
