Part of taking good photographs is taking a lot of photographs so that you get the lucky one that turns out well.

I've been having an on-off affair with snapping for a while. And to be honest, most of the good shots I get are done on my phone... These examples are all iPhone photos (either a 5 or a 6). Might all be 5. Dunno. They hold up well, unless you want to print them. I have a DSLR. But I need a better selection of lenses and then I tend to not take it because I'm not printing...

Vancouver, BC, Canada, May [?] 2014, unedited.

Kalkar's Wunderland, Kalkar, Germany, early June 2015 - This place was built as a Nuclear power station, but never switched on. It's now a pseudo-theme park place. This was taking early one morning before the doors opened in very late Spring. This shot makes me think it would be a great location for a Walking Dead episode. Unedited iphone snap.

Aurora, NY, USA, April 2014. Was at a wedding in the finger lakes region. Happened to be in the right place at the right time. Unedited iphone snap.

Germany, October 2014, Parent's neighbours have an apiary and I was in town getting a tour. In the summer months these "drawers" will be filled with honey. I haven't downloaded them off my phone, but I have pictures of them filled with honey. Tinkered slight with saturation in snapsneed. Iphone snap.

Wells, Maine, US, October 2014 - Because everybody should do two oceans a year minimum. Unedited iphone snap.

Just started a sunrise collection, I want to try and capture every sunrise in October. Living in Europe again for the first time in about six years, and I love the latitude difference compared to Montreal. How different the sunrises and the sunsets are, even though there's only about 7 degrees difference.
