I named it Omega orbiter.

Bob sounds great.

Bob only sounds great once it is splashed down.... Then it would be Omega bobber.

It could be B.O.B.! Bantam (small, usually referred towards poultry but it is still small.) Orbiting Bus (Space bus of course )

When naming my ships, I use a three letter designation about its purpose, followed by a number.

First letter: either 'U' or 'M' for unmanned or manned, respectively.

Second letter: describes purpose. may be 'P' for probe, 'L' for lander, etc.

Third letter: describes location. 'M' is Mun orbit, 'K' is Kerbin orbit, 'm' is Minmus orbit, etc.

Number: shows order in which the ships were built.

For example, my first space telescope was designated 'UTK-1'

After that designation, I only give a nickname if I think of one immediately. UTK-1 was known as Oculus.

But if you really need a name, I personally named my main orbiter Zvezda. It sounds cool and it\'s legit for a spacecraft (meaning star).

At first, I didn\'t know it meant star. I actually named it after a main character in a sci-fi MLP fanfic. Bronies on this site, you must go read Our First Steps (If you haven\'t already).
