Playing KSP with a SNES Remote? AWESOME!!

I'm going to get a SNES remote that will work with computers (a USB end). I'm playing on using it to fly so many aircrafts and new spacecrafts. It's going to be PilotWings to the MAX. Who else finds this awesome??

Also, thoughts on my control schemes?

Setup A (Rockets):

A: Stage

B: Toggle RCS/SAS

X: Max Thrust

Y: Cut Thrust

Right Button: Throttle Up

Left Button: Throttle Down

Start: Pause

Select: Fine Controls

D-Pad: Pitch (Up/Down), Yaw (Left/Right)

Setup B (Planes):

A: Landing Gear

B: Stage

X: Max Thrust

Y: Cut Thrust

Right Button: Roll Right

Left Button: Roll Left

Start: Pause

Select: Fine Controls

D-Pad: Pitch (Up/down), Yaw (Left/Right)

Note neither of these are 100% independent of the keyboard, I'll just be able to go without using it for a decent amount.

Hmm, maybe select could be docking mode. A/B for forward/backward, D-PAD for left/right/up/down. I'd like to use that, would be fun.

Meh. I could. Also I'm considering making a 3rd setup, which is mostly identical to my B setup, but left/right is ROLL and yaw is set to Right/Left buttons.
