Specific "Random" Name generator?

Hey all!

I am working on Robo-Kerbals, and I'm thinking that a random name generator would be good...

However, I am not sure how to integrate it.

What I am thinking is doing "Star Wars" naming (Letter, Number, Letter, Number: R2D2, C3P0, etc.)

Once this is made, we can have it automatically assign the newly minted name the "RoboKerbal" class my group n I are working on.

But to use letters and numbers would have to be created from scratch. Do you have access to a Mac? The only reason I ask is I program for Mac, and it is my most familiar area. If not, I could put a .dll together for ksp itself.

KPseudonym let you change the things in the game's name generator, even last names and whatnot. I'm pretty sure its broken for 1.0, but that might not be a bad place to go looking into how kerbal names are generated.

I'm pretty sure it just uses an array with a bunch of different names. Since I'M ON THIS PROJECT, I'M THINKING WE COULD USE A random number generator. Sorry, caps lock was on, and I don't want to rewrite it. We could have it check to make sure no others use the name, and if they have, rerun it, and when it is a new one, use it.
