Orbital construction and interplanetary mission

Working on an interplanetary transfer vehicle (much like Hermes, from The Martian). It's all being built via SSTO cargo vehicles and assembled in orbit, mostly manually (at some point mechjeb refused to do rendezvous, and since most dockings are two-point dockings, or require a very specific alignment, mechjeb can't do it). Here's the progress so far, just missing the engines and crew:

Do you plan to go anywhere specific when the vessel is done?

Well, I'm thinking Duna, but I'm not yet completely sure. I'll have to wait until construction is complete to see if maybe I have enough deltaV to go somewhere else and return. Return is the key part, I suspect it could probably go to any of the Joolean moons, but not so sure about the way home, while I'm pretty sure Duna landing and back is very much doable.

Well, if it's like the Hermes, it should be good for several flights. You can go to Duna on you maiden flight, refit once back at Kerbin and then maybe head to jool ;)

As far as reusability it is entirely possible! It is likely that I will need to add more tanks if I intend to go to Jool, land on one of the moons and return. It could probably do a Jool fly-by relatively easily, though
