Runway For Supersonic

A separate runway for super sonic ground vehicles.

My friend and I have been competing on seeing who can build the fastest ground vehicle. Unfortunately for supersonic the runway is incredibly too small. Now I've searched threads and seen that the reason there isn't a longer one is because they want to keep the runway (which is already big enough for landing) small for aircraft so as to not make it too easy to land.

If there is already a mod with a significant longer runway that would be awesome, and would appreciate a link to it. If there isn't could you look into making a separate runway or maybe a separate mode entirely just for ground vehicles with a runway that is about 10miles long? Again this isn't for aircraft landing, this is because my friend and I build vehicles that are stable at speeds of 350 to 450m/s (not rocket engines) and we keep running out of flat land and there is only so much we can do before just doing crazy stuff like overly sized engines on a pod.

Just like real life, supersonic land-speed runs are best done off the runway. I've seen players prefer to go to, I believe, the south pole, where the ice is perfectly flat and gives you many many kilometers with which to play.

my only problem with runways, is wobble before i can takeoff (and the eventual unplanned dissasembly event)

i would actually love to see something like a rail~ramp runway, maybe even a powered catapult version. (for example: think FF8 launching the Ragnarok)

How many miles/km long? Would be an easy object to make if you have kerbal Konstructs installed. Long flat surface with whatever texture you prefer. Can even make sides or walls for it.
