The "stuck at the KSC" issue

So this is an issue I see on my installs as I get lots of spacecraft up with complex missions and deep into the game - middle-late game.

I'll load up a game and I'll be at the KSC, but at a strange angle, as if I was looking over it off to one side directly over the roofs. None of the controls or buttons will work, exception ESC menu. I can sometimes fix this with a reload, sometimes not. It eventually gets worse forcing me to start over from a clean install.

Windows 7 / 4GB / x32 / 1.0.4 / a bunch of mods, happens over many different installs

I've gotten the same exact issue. And going back to the main menu doesn't help, as all the options there are greyed out. I end up having to quit out manually and reload.

To work around it, I've been making quicksaves as often as possible. I'll reload the quicksave while stuck, and still be stuck, but when when I quit out and go back in, I can keep playing.

When that happens use Mod+F12 (Mod being Alt on Windows) to open the debug menu, then find and press the "Clear Input Locks" button. The issue frequently happens if you alt-tab out of the game while it is loading, and mods can also leave input locks active on accident that can cause the issue. Clearing the input locks should fix it.
