I went to an open day at Salford University to look at their Aviation Technology. It was the coolest thing i have seen.

They had a real full size jet engine in a lab. Among other stuff, a £300,000 flight simulator that us students can use for free and a wind tunnel that can simulate speeds of up to mach 3.5. The lab looks like the SPH in real life.:D

They have a student club just for flying and making RC planes which they test in wind tunnels.

They have a real life SAS control thing for a plane model that was in a wind tunnel.

It is everything i want and more!

Also I get a PPL and a year placement in industry when i leave.

I am looking forward to university.:sticktongue:
