So, I had just got the path tracer on the map to say I was in a successful orbit, when it predicted a Mun encounter, which flung me into space and along a much larger orbit:

so..... for a first orbit I guess I could call this a win?

Yes, much better than I did. First Orbit was for one orbit, then kerplunk! in the ocean...

right now, actually, I am trying to get a satellite around the mun!

First time i went, I landed. I researched for about 3 months on real world strategies to get there.

change of plans, the mun has decided to fling this rocket into space aswell

i got to orbit with a rocket that was supposed to go to the mun! :-X
