Linear RCS thrusters atached to Mk-2 Cargo bay doesn't work

RCS Thrusters attached to Cargo bay doesn't work. One pair of them do but rest do not. They start to work when i open cargo bay. Than when I'm closing it they refuse to work again. Anybody know what is going on here ?

Likely the program thinks some of them are inside the bay. Are they definitely attached to the outside surface, and not perhaps attached to the inside, clipping through the surface?

Every port was attached in the same way. I've used magnet and attached them outside without any rotation or offset.

TRy mayber placing them in the SPH with the bay closed, so that way it knows they are external. It is defeinitly preventing their use because of the inside bay detection system.

I note you're using more than one such thruster... any reason you can't move half forewards to the cockpit module, and the other half aftwards?

Yes I can. But its the center of mass here, near cargo bay. Also wanted to know what is wrong here.

Hence why I suggested moving half one way and half the other, so the net thrust remains balanced. Moving them further away from the CoM also means they'll be better placed to assist with rotational thrust, too.

Well, now you know - ever-so-slightly-off containment detection is determining that the non-firing thrusters are "contained" when they're not intended to be.

Try offsetting them outward a bit, I bet it's checking containment based on the whole thruster body, half of which is in the bay when attached normally.
