Kille the Plug-nozzle and replace with a proper aerospike engine!

Not sure how long it's been since you played, you might be pleased to hear that they were buffed significantly in 1.0.3, with a 50% mass reduction that made their TWR more competitive. A much more useful engine than before (and even moreso on Eve where the higher pressure makes it better still against teh other engines).

I'd like to say I haven't found easy to comprehend information on aerospike's thrust. It should preserve it as well as ISP, but the efficiency of this preservation varies depending on speed.

Also I don't really sure how should we compare thrust. Mainsail's and Skipper's bells look similar to me but their thrust differs a lot. I have seen some plots with thrust/ISP curve that shows that aerospike output curve is closest to optimal one, but I do not really understand what does that mean. How exactly one is calculating engine output at any pressure level in terms of thrust?
