KW Rocketery patch install- Help?

Running Kerbal 1.0.4 - I understand that KW Rocketery is mainly compatible with 1.0.2. There is a patch which may help (I have a problem in that the Petal fairing won't decouple [tried just about everything!]) but my question is: I don't know where to install the patch files, like the patch.cfg files etc as no instructions. Any tips?

If it's a patch you put it in your KSP/GameData folder anywhere and you have to have ModuleManager *.*.* installed also hope it helps.

Thankyou very much! That worked and the patches installed - looks like I can finally start my attempt a Mun and back with a full Apollo 11.
