Paleva Tylo Colonization Missions

The Paleva Tylo colonization missions are self explanatory. There purpose is to colonize Tylo.

Get the full save and craft set! (When it's finished)

There are 5 subsets:

1. Pelrick

2. Linlo

3. Selvus

4. Nulvail

5. Delphi

Let's begin with the very first mission.

It was to see how far a rocket like this could go. It was very preliminary, and the craft returned as soon as it could.

Pelrick 2 through 6: Making a fuel depot in orbit

Orbiting at 250K, this small station is for the main usage of refueling the outbound spacecraft in orbit.

Pelrick 2: Stock Station Core

Pelrick 3: Lab Module

Pelrick 4: Fuel Tank

Pelrick 7-10: Testing Surface Landers

A Critical piece of colonies is surface landers. They are what gets people to the surface. Here are a couple designs.

Claims that the Maltrop Lander is really just the stock Super-Heavy Lander are mildly exaggerated.

Now for the good stuff:

Pelrick 11: The First Flyby

It's been a long time coming, and now it's here! The Big One! The Grand slam! The First Jool Flyby, aka Pelrick 11!This spacecraft is the highest rated flyby probe since Voyager 2! It's equipped with all sorts of gizmos, such as a

command pod, a pair of solar panels, and science stuff! Woooo! Yeah! Ok, let's launch this thing.

Linlo 1: SSTO KERBIN

Now that the Jool system has been explored, it's time to start colonizing We begin with the SSTO KERBIN, a decent spaceplane with OK guidance systems, and a cargo bay. It carries 6 kerbals and an amount of satellite space. It can get to orbit and back without any help at all. It's like a toddler of SSTO's. Well, I could go on all day, but let's look at pretty pictures of it instead.

The Linlo SSTO KERBIN model B, rolling down the runway. (it later exploded mid-flight)

Linlo 2: Impactor

The flyby was not enough. Research and Develpoment needed hard evidence on Tylo. How big was it? Was it a scientifically worthy site? Why didn't they already know? So they sent a "lander," the Linlo 2, to check it out. I used quotes because it's less falling with style and more dead. But it gave a good amount of science and info, which was all it needed. I decided for this one not to have screenshots but to try my hand at a movie instead. I present: the Tylo Impactor.
