Dell Inspiron 15 VS Asus X455LJ

Hello guys,

I'm in the process of looking for a new laptop, and two caught my attention : the Dell Inspiron 15 (7000 series I believe) and the Asus X455LJ

Both have similar specs, the only difference being the dedicated GPU: the Dell has 4GB dedicated, while the Asus has 2GB dedicated (and I think it's the same GPU). I know the solid reputation of Asus, but, in this case, is it worth the difference in term of dedicated graphics?

I'm putting a link comparing the two laptops : http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/compare-result.aspx?ProductIds=10377664%2C10384057&returnPath=%2FSearch%2FSearchResults.aspx%3Fpath%3Dca77b9b4beca91fe414314b86bb581f8en20%26filter%3Dcategory%253aComputers%2B%2526%2BTablets%253bcategory%253aLaptops%2B%2526%2BUltrabooks%253bcurrentoffers0enrchstring%253aOn%2BSale%26Lang%3Den-ca%26icmp%3Dlaptops_hero2across_all_on_sale_en

For an all-purpose laptop, which one best suits me?

The VRAM is unimportant with those GPUs, when 2 GB are full the (extremly weak) 920 will already be way beyond its limits...

Yeah, but dedicated GPU is still better than no dedicated at all, right?

And my main question is, is a 4GB dedicated Dell better than a 2GB dedicated Asus, or the Asus can compete (read "be on par") with the Dell?
