It's a drag, it's a bore, it's really such a pity

To be looking at the boards, not looking at the cities

To the ultimate test of spaceflight fitness

This provides much more for us

Than a launch of probes or a ship of whitesuits

Praise the VAB I'm only riding the rocket -- controlling it --

I don't see you guys rating

The kind of trip I'm contemplating

I'd let you watch, I would invite you

But the courses we use would not excite you

So you better go back to your bars, your space centers, your control rooms --
