Spacewalk Live on NASA TV Now!

It's almost over now. They re-deployed the back up radiator because they didn't have time in the walk to properly stow it (it was a secondary task). They are cleaning up now and they just said 45 minutes before airlock (about 5 minutes ago)

Aside from the radiator deployment and a few nice shots of the station or Earth, it's mostly pulling and re-attaching connectors and adapters, and booties. It's not super interesting, it's just really cool that we get to watching something happening so far above our heads. It started early this morning, I didn't know about it until about an hour ago. When I first opened it, it was dark and you could only see their hands anyway. It's crossing back into the dark now.

I know, right? :D I often wonder what Buzz Aldrin and other surviving early astronauts and cosmonauts think, when they watch transmission like this? Are they amazed, like the rest of us is? Or maybe they are disappointed that we still lack Moon and Mars bases, and world has to be excited at a bunch of photos sent by a lone probe leaving our system - because we don't have anything better to show for our 50+ years of exploring the space. :(
