Mrred1
Hi, I'm making a movie that has a plot similar to Gravity, and I was wondering what to do for the debris scene. I figured I could get a green screen of debris but it doesn't seem very authentic. Any ideas on how I could execute this? Thanks:cool:
ineon
You could create a space station, but attach everything with decouplers. Once you are in orbit fire all the decouplers. Viola - instant debris.
Jimbimbibble
Or, build a station and blow it up with KIS explosives.
Brainlord Mesomorph
1. once made a time-bomb by mounting spratrons on a fuel tank with the fire pointed at the fuel tank.2. build in really weak points and shake it apart w/ RCS Edited November 9, 2015 by Brainlord Mesomorph

Highguard
What techniques you use depend on the tools and money that you have available. Specific questions might get more useful answers. Especially if you show how it relates to KSP tutorials."Green screen" is simply a technique for putting a background behind other scenery/actors. Much more fun to do it for real, I'd think - if you've got the money.
