Just had a great Glitch

So This Happened https://youtu.be/q7yvkaKOVpY ,During an a failed probe deployment ,i switched to orbit map,and somehow ended up with Kerbal Space Center floating past Kerbal,then a U.F.O.Followed by an almighty explosion.

This is a known bug where if your control base part (capsule or probe) crashes into the ground it will bring the surface it crashes into and the explosion into the map screen- one second I'll get you a video.

i wonder though say you place kerbalnauts on evas around your base,and then have that glitch happen would they spin off into space.

Probably not. Usually it only involves the craft which crashes and any facilities it crashes into.
