Crash on startup after update(1.0.5)

Recommended Posts

So since installing the new update, the game displays this error message and crashes 10 seconds after start.

Switching to resolution 1600x900 failed, trying lower one
All resolution switches have failed
Screen: could not switch resolution (1600x900 fs=0 hz=0)

This just displays in a window, and when I close it "KSP has stopped working".

Tried changing the resolution and also running -autoconfig in the launch options, no joy.

Here are the mods I use, but I don't use some of them. If there is a problem specifically with one of them I will point out if I have it or not.

Your output log will be more useful than the modlist. I had the same issue in the past. I can't remember if I solved deleting the KSP setting .cfg in the Kerbal Space Program folder or reinstalling KSP. I suggest you to try to delete the setting .cfg first.

Oh, yeah, I'll give my output_log, but there isn't a crash folder, it's just the output_log from the KSP_Data folder

EDIT: Actually looking at the log shows that it interacts with unity, probably not in a good way.

Have you tried deleting the setting .cfg?

EDIT: I looked your output (I'm not an expert), nothing too interesting, apart that you're still using some mods not yet updated for 1.0.5. Let me know if you can solve deleting the setting .cfg

Well, holy ..... I didn't think that would work. I'll see if any of the mods can cause incompatibility, and re-install the ones that need reinstalling, but it seems to work so far.
