WaveRunner PC-1

This simple low part count speedboat is powered by 2 concealed Juno engines in water-jet configuration. It is simple to operate and has ample room for passengers and other stuff you don't want the Coast Guard to see. It looks like an innocently dinky old speedboat until you floor it, whereupon it will rise and plane on its jet pods for reduced hydrodynamic drag.

The craft file is available on KerbalX and a convenient disposable rover is provided to move the boat to the water. Jettison the rover chassis by staging and light the engines for a quick getaway! Depending on sea state and craft balance, top speed is in the range of 40 to 60 knots.

I like your ambulance logo. Could you make a large .png for me of it with the word Rescue instead of Ambulance? I think the KSC Coast Guard needs a good logo and that one looks perfect.

The boat could indeed be furnished but I wanted to keep part count low and left the chairs on shore. I'll add 2 or 3 chairs and leave it as that.

I am thinking of making a shipwreck as well. I could partially dismantle a coastal trawler and I was thinking rescuing 1 Kerbal from shipwrecks are not fun enough. A broken ship and a half dozen rescues at once could be amusing, if only for a low frequency contract.

Hmm, what are we doing shanghai-ing marooned sailors and sending them to space? Lol
