My first Munar landing :)

I have been playing since 0.12, and I have only just landed on The Mun >.< I\'m proud that i didn\'t explode too much, and hey, Jeb is happy

Now, you just need to find some way of rescuing Bill, Bob and Jeb who seem to be trapped there!

I\'m sure I will think of a way, Now I have a similar problem, but on Minmus, I 'land' the same it seems

There\'s a lot of fuel left there too, I wish there was a way to salvage it on another flight, maybe the EVA in 0.16 will do that

These dont have legs because i landed by accident, the Mun landing was be playing about with a big rocket and fancied trying to land, The minmus one, well i wanted to crash, but i had a ton of fuel + i was moving slow, so i gave it a shot at landing

From what I can see of the debris, it looks like you landed with a lot of horizontal speed, which can be countered with the RCS translation controls (I,J,K,L).

The problem with an unplanned landing is no RCS onboard, I have about 3-4 m/s which i was going to do a quick retro burn to reduce, but the surface crept up on me so i wanted to live rather than crash

My first landing, the landing leg broke, and thats the ONLY reason i couldnt get home.

I love how things like that engine bell will just roll down the hills in a classic comical style like it\'s the trace of a horrible crash.

I recently had my first landing, and everything exploded except for the command module.

This was my first somewhat successful 'recovery' mission, now i only need to get a recovery vehicle for my recovery vehicle.
