64-bit player active by default?

Just downloaded 1.0.5 and in the launcher settings, the 64-bit player option is on by default. Now I'm guessing this doesn't actually launch the 64-bit player, but I'm confused as to the reason its not grayed out. I seem to remember it being grayed out in v0.90, though I could be mistaken. Does the option have any effect currently, or can I just ignore it?

There isn't a 64bit executable so it can't possibly launch the 64bit version.

Anyway. SpacedInvader, you can ignore it. It won't do anything bad to your game, or anything good to your game.

If i hit tab at the wrong time when launching from terminal, yes. Normally i just run the 64 executable directly
