Yes it is currently pretty dead here.... I'll get round to updating it one day..... at some point.... maybe....

 

Welcome to Cryo Engineering Corp! My personal showcase in which I'm posting a variety of launchers, spacecraft and military vessels. All my craft are stock and so can be used by anyone. I may post variants with some optional mod parts from time to time. More craft are pending when I have the time to post them here and check they still work in the latest version.

VT-104A

Well. I guess its time to post the first craft in my new showcase. I think everything is working currently. I've been working on the VT-104 for quite a few weeks and have finally caved and made it larger, due to my insistence on using four Rapiers. Its low part count and great TWR means that its easy to get into orbit and back, though its heavily anhedral wings make it a bit twitchy and more suited for experienced pilots. With seats for 8 crew or an alternative cargo version, it makes a great utility SSTO for crew rotation and satellite launches.

I'm not sure on the total dV atm though I have tested travelling to a 500km orbit, docking with a satellite, and returning to the KSC with fuel to spare.

Looks like the first craft I'm going to have ready is the VT-104A. My first proper SSTO in a long time. Its taken quite a bit of tweaking to get to this point and I still forgot to add ladders. :/ Just a few things and it will be released. :) Edited November 23, 2015 by Frozen_Heart
