Surviving legacy parts...

I was working on a ship the other day when I realized something...

There are only 4 parts that haven't changed from the very early versions.

The Mk 16 parachute
The AV-R8 winglet
The AV-T1 winglet
The FTX-2 fuel line.

These parts were introduced as part of the very first versions of KSP, and they're the only ones not to have been remodeled since. Granted, other parts also haven't been changed since their introduction, but they're from later additions. These parts are more than 4 years old now, and I sincerely hope Squad keeps 'em as-is. They're a link to the past.

Wrong. The AV-T1 winglet changed color slightly. It used to be kinda beige.

The AV-R8 winglet had no functionality when introduced.

The Mk-16 is actually extra-legacy because it has been in the game since its first public release.

Technically, that doesn't count either. All of the parts except the fuel line have had aero tweaks.

The fuel line was changed to have no physics at one point.

...

Appearance-wise, the only one that is inaccurate is the AV-T1.
AFAIR struts always looked the same now and then.
*blinks*

*headdesks*

How could I forget that? "If it crashes, add more struts. If it don't, add more boosters. Repeat until desired results achieved."

God I miss the old days sometimes. :D
