Can't send science from mobile lab

I've got a mobile lab in orbit around Kerbin with a few science units compiled, but when I try to transmit them, nothing happens except for the screen saying "no target." The vessel is manned and has comms, ec, ect. All the mods are up to date. I've tried seconding a second ship in orbit with the same problem, and even rebuilt an entirely new craft and put it orbit without hyper edit just to be sure, and the problem remains. I recall using the lab previously and it worked, so I'm not sure what's going on now.

It's caused by Science Alert, if you check the mod thread someone uploaded a patch to fix it.
