The Minnow: 1.5 tanks of fuel to orbit and safely splashing down to Kerbol.

Jupiter 5: 5 tanks of fuel to Mun landing and safely splashing down to Kerbol. I have a feeling I can land on Minmus and come back, too, I\'m working on that right now.

Both craft destroy their engines if you land them on the ground. Jupiter 5 might be able to use its legs to soften its blow, but you should probably just land it in the water.

Okay, I\'ve just confirmed that Jupiter 5 can land on Minmus and return, and it actually uses *less* fuel than landing on Mun and coming back. Probably because Minmus\' lower gravity means less fuel spent landing and taking off.

The legs will not hold up to a ground landing unless you use your remaining fuel to soften it.
