Crashing

Something is wrong with it then... I play on a 2015 MacBook Air and haven't had a crash in over half a year with several mods installed.

Try reinstalling, or, if the problem persists, check your drivers and hardware. Might as well be a big issue of your machine.

The machine is pretty new and high spec so not sure its the machine not being able to cope - id be peed off considering the cost! It never crashed on my old apple which was much lower spec, it just couldnt handle more than a basic rocket.

Will have to ditch some of the mods i dont use as there a good few

No matter the specs of your machine, no matter the amount of RAM you have installed. No 32bits program can ever use more than the classic 3.8GB barrier.

That said you have a few options.

  • Reduce the memory load. (for example delete some mods)
  • Use the unstable, unsupported 64bit hacked version.
  • Go LINUX to use the official 64bits version
  • Wait for 1.1, unity 5 and a stable 64 bits version.

Whats ckan?

ah, i see the barrier if will always top out at under 4gbs - makes the other 12 somewhat redundant.

what do you mean unity 5? A 64bt version would appear to be the answer - if there is a hacked version but its equally unstable theres no point.

Ill start having a mod deleting session...
