Problems with EVE and or Scatterer?

I just installed both, from about 10kms up on kerbin as far as im aware, scatterer or eve causes a secondary thick atmospheric layer to appear above the normal existing one, it doesnt hinder gameplay as far as I can tell but it looks really dodgy, can anyone help out??? I want my game to look as fresh as possible,  heres the issue-http://imgur.com/Jf67YjR
