RCS Mod?

Looking at designs for most space shuttles, RCS thrusts don't protrude from the craft - instead they have specialised slots/holes built into the ship to expel the gases. 

I was wandering if there is a mod which somehow adds this ability to create these slots on parts?

Making a mod that can cut into the geometry of other parts would be difficult...  That said, there are some modded command pods and other pieces that use recessed RCS thrusters instead of slapping them on the outside!

that's what the offset tool is for - press 2 in VAB and click on parts, make sure turn off angle snap for best use

This is how i've been getting around it for a while - I was just hoping for that a mod existed.
