Insane Asteroids Spawning

Greetings kerbonouts!

I have recently run in to,what i belive is a bug. The problem is that the game wants to spawn 700 asteroids near kerbin. This is extremely annoying and the framerate is suffering. Is someone aware how to remove them,and maybe even how to stop them spawning.

Kopernicus is the problem, with it's new asteroid spawner, I believe. Yesterday, 160 asteroids spawned near my Kerbin just while doing an ion burn to Jool.

I got the same problem, anyone know how to remove the asteroids?

I uninstalled Kopernicus.

Timewarp at full speed until the asteroids disappear, once Kopernicus is out of your install. If they don't begin to disappear, report back on this thread.
