KSP.exe has stopped working on start up

Description:
When I try to launch the game from Steam, or direct from the exe I get the following message:
"KSP.exe has stopped working, A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
I have never been able to play this game since I bought it.  I just did a complete re-install of Windows 10 hoping that would solve the issue but it didn't.
It is an unmodded version of the game.

Have you made sure your graphics card driver is up to date? From what I understand Windows 10 does a bad job in this area.

That was the problem...  I installed the newest drivers and it started working.
