forum code tag for C# highlighting?

I noticed that when you use the forum's feature to insert a code block, the dialog box gives you the following choices for languages to pick for syntax highlighting:

• No Syntax Highlighting

• C

• CSS

• HTML

• Javascript

• PHP

• SQL

• XML

Note C# is prominently missing from that list, and I'd suspect it's the most likely one people are using.  In these fora a lot of talk between KSP modders is going on, especially in the KSP mod help forum where modders help new modders out.

I know you're using a third-party forums tool here, but maybe they have a package that adds more options there to that list?

You can just use C.  It won't get everything, but it works perfectly fine.  I would like that, though.

Tried it already.  Once it sees one thing it doesn't understand, then from then on the rest of the code doesn't highlight right for a long distance before the parser syncs up again.

You'll have to look up if the code you're using is compatible with C. C# is somewhat similar in format to C but there are things different.

I don't have to look it up.  I already know it's not.  That's the whole point of me making this thread.

Hmm, this is a tough one. I'd have to dig deep into the forum code to see if this is possible, and even then it might get overwritten during future updates. I'll make a request with IPS instead. There's no guarantee they'll implement it but if they do then it's future-proof.
