Game does not see saved games

KSP was working fine in spite of all the mods I run.  Was working fine and decided to take a break.  Exited the game normally but upon restart, when I click resume saved game, the first time is a long pause and then nothing.  Repeated clicks after that only briefly change the font color as expected, but nothing else.  Any ideas?

What did you do during this break? Did you modify anything in your game folder, or even in computer? If yes, what would that be?

Don't hesitate to post logs too, they may hold a clue to what's going on.

I have had this issue multiple times, Now tell me, does it let you start a new game?

If the above is true, then we have the same issue. It doesn't kill the problem, but it is a workaround for it. go into the settings area, and then exit. usually changing the scene will fix an issue, and it seems to do the same here as well...

Make sure it is located in a folder under your account (just in case you have another.)  Make sure it's not under any system folders, so there are enough permissions to use the file system.
