How to split quotes on mobile?

Hi! On the desktop, it is possible to split a quote by pressing enter 2 times.

I tried to do the same on a Lollipop tablet in chrome, but it did not work. Is there a way to do that?

I'm glad I could help, but I still wanna know how to do that on mobile

Technically speaking there isn't a separate mobile site, it's the same as the desktop one but scaled down. I just tried it in a post from a PC with the UI narrowed to mobile size and it works the same, perhaps it's a browser issue? Have you tried others, if available?

Edit: Noticed something odd. If splitting a quote mid-paragraph, you must split it into paragraphs with one press of enter and then put your cursor at the end of the first paragraph and hit enter twice for the quote to split. If you leave the cursor at the beginning of the second paragraph it doesn't work. Is it possible this is what's happening?

Tried Chrome&Firefox, but no avail. And I'm a bit too lazy to use other browsers

I've noticed it too on PC, but that's not the problem on Mobile. There, it simply doesnt break the quote no matter what you do.

Anyway, thanks for trying. I think I'll post something on forum feedback, maybe it'll get fixed by upstream.
