Mapping (or re-mapping) the brake

I\'ve been flying a lot of spaceplanes lately. Flying, however, isn\'t the problem. Landing is the problem!

I recently (finally) got a gamepad working, which has allowed me to accurately line up for landing at the KSC runway.

However, actually stopping on the runway has proved to be basically impossible.

I have no reverse thrust, and only the mysterious brake-that-doesn\'t-exist.

Pressing \'B\' on my keyboard does slow and stop the craft. But making the switch from gamepad to keyboard isn\'t easy.

Well, no problem, right? Just map the brake to a button on the gamepad. Difficulty: there is no BRAKE listed in the input mapping.

What the what???

Put one or two (your choice) parachutes on the back of the plane, and put them on their own stage, and put that stage above all of the plane parts, so when you\'re on the runway, you can hold B and press Space to activate the \'chutes.

I believe the braking key is defined in the braking parts .cfg file

Okay, I see that now. We\'re making progress!

Is there a way to define a joystick input via the .cfg file?

Back when I had a Logitech gamepad, it had an app that would let you map inputs outside of the program (for using a joystick in games that didn\'t support joysticks), but that\'s not an option for me right now.
