Transferring Crew to modules under fairings.

Is there any way to transfer crew to a part that is covered by a fairing.  I can transfer fuel by right clicking on the fairing over the part.  I can even transfer a crew member out of a part by the same way.  But you can't seem to be able to do the left click you need to be able to transfer a crew member in.
