from left: Communotron 16, DTS-M1, HG-55(from asteroid day, and will be stock) Communotron 88-88, and three will be added dishs.(S-M-L)

my guess is:

Communotron 16 : kerbin orbit or mun

DTS-M1 : in kerbin system (7~90Mmish?)

88-88 : well, I think it can reach the the Jool but not Eeloo, I guess.

soon to be stock asteroid day : until duna/dres, I guess?( it has same trans speed with kerbin one, but lower power useage..)

These ranges will be modifiable as difficulty settings. It was said so in the original announcement already.
