"A nice day for a drive, wouldn't you say, Dalena?"

"Yes, Gernard. It seems quite lucky that you got this new car this morning."

"Enough talk, let's get driving!"

*Voosh-woosh-swoosh-veen!*

"Did you hear something?"

*CRACK!--CRASH!--BOOM!*

"AUGHH!! What was that?!!"

"I think something crashed into the road! We should get out and investigate."

Gernard ran ahead but than stopped and stood perfectly still. When Dalena caught up to him...

"Is it a plane?"

"No, the wings are wrong. We need to get closer."

"It looks very broken. Whatever it was, it certainly didn't work properly."

*Grrrum*

"Ma'am, sir, I'm Tanenna Kerman. I'm with the Kerbal Terrain Guard. This site is now a restricted area, so we're going to half to ask you to leave."

"We aren't leaving!"

"Ma'am, I am sorry, but it wasn't a request. It was an order."

And so they left. Dalena muttered something as she walked away.

Hours later...

"Doctor Soncott, sir, we've cleared away most of the wreckage, but there's one thing left that we need you to inspect."

"Hmm... It looks to be a crew pod of some sort. Made of the second composite. It still seems sealed. Fetch Doctor Millie, she's the biologist."

"We'll need to inspect it from the inside. I'm going in."

"It looks like... A plane cabin. Not sure why. But the LS system seems... off. Like it's not built for kerbals at all."

"Let's take it away. We'll inspect it more at base."

"So, Doctor Millie, what is your opinion on this?"

"Well, Soncott, it's undeniably alien. The LS is all wrong for a kerbal, and I found some very... Odd biological samples inside."

"I agree. we found pieces made of 2 different composites, both of which superficially resemble our materials, but are far superior. The first composite, the grey one, seemed optimized for strength, but the other was optimized for heat resistance and aerodynamics. I think we have a spacecraft on our hands, and not a kerblish one."

"We need to know more!" Exclaimed Millie. And it just so happened that Dalena had muttered the exact same phrase earlier. "The truth is out there somewhere!"

Yes, I've noticed that the cars seem nicer than I had expected them to be. They started out as just props, but turned out to look pretty nice. I'll probably put the craft files up sometime soon.

Anyways, I'm working on the next episode now. Expect to see it in about a week, since it has a lot of big/hard to move stuff.

New Minichapter: Prologue is now complete!

"They still haven't told us where we're going..." Said Millie.

"Yes we have!" Shouted Gusvey, who was driving. "We're going southwest. I honestly don't know what's there."

Soon, however, the destination drew near.

The garage loomed ahead, but when Gusvey tried to enter...

"You call this a garage, you *!%$#&%*^&^*$%!&%*@#&^&%^@&*%#$% ?!!" Shouted Gusvey as he left the car. Luckily, Tanenna took the wheel and drove them out of the ill-sized garage before going to reprimand him.

By the time Soncott and Millie left the car, they had disappeared into the base. "Guess we might as well go in..." said Soncott, nervously.

They were barely through the door when the loudspeaker announced "Doctors Soncott and Millie to the base commons, Soncott and Millie to the base commons."

When they climbed up to the commons, the base commander, Photrice Kerman, was waiting in there. "So, I understand that you two are now our resident experts on extrakerbin craft."

"Well, not experts per se..."

"I wasn't asking. I was telling. Each of you is now promoted to the rank of agent. You will be in charge of our newest division,

The K-Files."

"Why the K-files? And why did you say it like that, all bold?"

"It's the K-files because we already have 10 divisions that decided they wanted to have names with the format 'The ____-Files'."
