Using handles on PPD-10 Hitchhikers for EVA

So I'm sure I've noticed it before, but while I was building a shuttle for ferrying crew members around orbit, I just had a thought about the handles that appear to be on the top and bottom of the PPD-10 Hitchhiker habitation modules. If you'll notice in the image below, the handle-y type structures are identical to the ladder above and below the hatch.

I propose using these handles as a grabbable ladder for EVA, to help give another function to an otherwise fairly pointless cosmetic choice, and it could potentially help if one were to have a disaster such as I had where a Kerbal ran out of EVA fuel while doing work (detailed in my mission report).

Grabbable things save lives!

The Mobile Processing lab also has these, the Cupola has ones that look like they should be even more useful. the Z4k battery too.  All should be made useable

Indeed they should. Perhaps even with custom animations for shuffling sideways like how astronauts use them to move.
