Can't use middle mouse button means no panning in VAB or zooming

Somehow my middle mouse button stopped working. I can't pan in the VAB anymore.  I also cannot scroll to zoom in and out.  I find it wierd.  It used to work, but now without any changes I think no working anymore.   Just to be clear I can use the scroll wheel and middle mouse button everywhere else. E.g desktop, other games etc.

The same thing happened to me recently. It was fixed when I removed my third-party mouse utility and went back to the Logitech one that I had stopped using due to it forgetting scroll speed settings. So far, I'm OK....

@tempsgk My favorite mouse's middle button also died... a few years ago. I tried a few replacements, but I always got back to the old one sooner or later.

So... you can use all functions with using CTRL or SHIFT and... on of the two buttons. Can't tell exactly which one does what, but you'll figure it out.

EDIT: Ahh, it's a software problem, only with KSP. Strange. Have you tried turning it off and on again reinstalling the whole game?

Its a software issue,  maybe I can rebind my Middle mouse and scroll wheel for zoom in and out/panning? I can't find those particular bindings in the options menu.
