[Collection]The Cobbler's Pile o' Rockets

Recommended Posts

Well hello there! I am the Cobbler, and this is my first post on these forums! After specializing in fixing shoes for centuries, I decided to take our family business on a different path.

Listed below are some of my designs. They are by no means perfect, many being no more than abandoned hope. I still hope you enjoy them, maybe even help me improve them :P.

I use many different mods, but use only a few parts of them for easier loading times. The mods I use are:

Kosmos

Probodobodyne

NovaPunch Remix

Cart Plugin

Dynasat (just the satellites)

Mechjeb

With no further ado, here they are, in random order:

The Centurion I

Designed to carry Comsats into the sky, this baby worked for me, and I\'ll be darned it\'ll work for you!

Comes with a handy launch system, that auto-ejects on start up. Uses the handy Mechjeb autopilot, to get those pesky sats in a stable orbit round Kerbin.

The Lakzof II

After failed attempts to create the Lakzof I, a completely new design was attempted. This one wouldn\'t be a spaceship, but a Munar Base. It features lots of legs, 8, to get you down, and a nice carrier rocket to get you to the Mun. (Usually) has fuel left to move after landing on the Mun, if you\'ve been efficient. Also equipped with Jeb\'s Mechanized brain for easy landings.

The Hawk Project

My design for a heavy transporter, originally meant to launch rockets into space. After that failed, it has been converted into a long-range bomber, a high-speed aircraft liner and plane for rocket transport across Kerbin. Has NOT been sufficiently tested.

The Schwalbe

scaled.php?server=818&filename=screenshot17y.png&res=landing

Based on the famous Me 232, this plane was my first \'\'successful\'\' jet. Not quite as good as the original, but its good enough. It got some nice control surfaces after I discovered you could rotate parts. It had been converted into a low-altitude bomber, and you could do the same! Comes with a handy tilted wing, allowing easy launch, simply by accelerating!

The Meteor Project

scaled.php?server=152&filename=screenshot15c.png&res=landing

Based on the counterpart of the 232, the Gloster Meteor, this plane is almost identical in stats, except for the looks. Or not. I don\'t really know a lot bout this thing. Actually, I don\'t really know anything about any of these rockets and planes.

I had lots of other rockets, but decided to delete them aswell, again for streamlining. If you guys really want some more (don\'t think so) I\'ll put em up for ya.
