First Time Startup Taking forever to load

I have yet to play the game, I just bought & downloaded it through steam and it is stuck loading and a black screen with a loading icon on the bottom right. I tried exiting out and opening it again but I keep getting the same problem.

Stuck loading for how long, exactly? On the face of it, it sounds like this problem. It has something to do with how Unity uses http to call it's assets, or some such business (I don't pretend to understand it). However, disabling any virtual networks on your computer could help.

Could you post your system specs please. Also are your graphic drivers up to date?
