Anybody use Fraps? If so, i need a little help.

Simple thing: I need to figure out if there's a recording light/timer in fraps and turn it on. I need this because i'll often forget to press the record button to turn recording off, so i'll record a bunch of boring stuff, and then when i record something interesting i end up turning off recording when i mean to turn it on (since it was already on) so i wont record what i actually want to. It's frustrating.

So yes, if there's some way for fraps to display wether or not i am recording something, i would like to know. Yes i am an amateur at this, and any help would be really appreciated

Oh, if you have the FPS counter show up, it indicates recording. Yellow = not recording, and red = recording.
